The creative act as a ritual. Forms that self-generate, as if dictated by invisible archetypal laws. In this series, I sought to experience the rituality of mark-making as if I were a human from thousands of years ago, in a state of absolute freedom from the known. The resulting forms are intentionally "poor"—almost a meta-language of marks elevated to symbols.
